My name is Stephen Roberto and jiu jitsu saved my life. I am a black belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu and the first Chamoru to achieve this honor. I am a student of Enson Inoue and Mike Fowler. I am blessed to train in paradise, Purebred Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy ,Guam. 5. I’m new to Guam. I took classes from two of Lloyd Irvin affiliated schools in the states. Evolve Academy of Martial Arts(Mike Moses) and Ivey League MMA(Danny Ives). I was just wondering if you guys were the school located across the street from the Chamoru Village. Anyway, great site man.

    • Yessir! We are located in Hagatna south of the Chamoru Village. Thanks for stopping by and come visit us.

      • I definitely will. I’m looking for a good school and that’s going to be right by the house. So, it sounds like a win.

  6. Steve,

Thanks for the piece you did on Chris. He really loved and admired you. He is looking down and smiling on all of us.

    God Bless Kipper.

  7. Good blog, just looking around some blogs, appears a pretty nice platform you are using. I am currently using WordPress for a couple of of my websites but looking to change one of them more than to a platform comparable to yours like a trial run. Anything in particular you would recommend about it?

  8. This is an amazing blog (just found it today!). I am so happy that Jiu Jitsu has saved your life, as well as my own. Please continue this blog so that we can all share in some of the amazing things you experience with Jiu Jitsu!

Now to start reading all of the old posts… ^_^

  9. Really great blog. Lots of fun to read. As a Blue Belt, I’ve learned quite a bit from reading your articles and can’t wait to see more in the future!

  10. Hi, Neat post. There’s a problem together with your site in internet explorer, could check this? IE still is the market chief and a big element of folks will leave out your wonderful writing because of this problem.
